I’m Colleen
I am the artist & designer of Bloom Wild Design. I’m a wife & mother of 3 amazing teen daughters… and a dog too! I’m an Interior Designer, turned self-taught Artist and Surface Pattern Designer, living in Carmel, Indiana. Longing to be able to work but also make it to all my children's school plays, class parties, performances and sporting events when they were young, led me to starting Bloom Wild. I believe in surrounding yourself with tried and true patterns and art that will stand the test of time. From feminine florals to landscapes to patterns, I enjoy bringing my expertise and passion for creating gorgeous, livable designs to life on canvas & products I love.

my story:
I’ve have always been creative, which has to come out in some way. Although, I graduated from college with a business degree, it only side tracked me for a short while. I soon returned to school for Interior Design. I then worked in Residential Interior Design on the North Shore of Chicago, for many years. That’s where I met & married my husband and had 3 beautiful daughters. That all led me to working from home, and the world of Etsy. I designed and created children’s bedding & little girl dresses (Sugar Creek Bedding & Sugar Creek Kids) and then moved onto Surface Pattern Design, Painting and Bloom Wild Design.
This shop has grown out of my love of all things creative. When I'm not designing, you can usually find me at a coffee shop, in my garden, wandering through antique stores/flea markets or in the kitchen with my husband and our three daughters. I'm passionate about creating pieces that are uplifting, encouraging and leave you smiling, Thank you for stopping by!
